Noida CEO Withholds Salaries of 8 Officials Over Grievance Redressal Delays
Noida CEO Stops Pay of 8 Officials for IGRS Delays

In a strict move to enforce accountability, the Chief Executive Officer of the Noida Authority, Lokesh M, has ordered the immediate withholding of salaries for eight senior officials. This decisive action, taken on Monday, stems from significant delays in resolving public complaints filed through the Integrated Grievance Redressal System (IGRS).

Zero Tolerance for Pending Public Grievances

The CEO's directive specifically targets departments that have failed to clear a backlog of more than 12 pending IGRS cases. Authority officials revealed that despite repeated reminders and instructions, the concerned officers did not ensure the timely disposal of these critical public grievances. The CEO emphasized that any form of negligence in matters of public interest, particularly regarding IGRS complaints, is unacceptable and will be met with strict consequences.

Officials Facing Salary Stoppage

The list of officials whose salaries have been stopped until further notice includes prominent names across various departments. They are:

  • Kranti Shekhar Singh, Officer on Special Duty (Group Housing)
  • Arvind Kumar Singh, Officer on Special Duty (Land Records)
  • AK Arora, General Manager (Civil)
  • SP Singh, General Manager (Health)
  • RP Singh, General Manager (Water)
  • Meena Bhargava, General Manager (Planning)
  • Priya Singh, Assistant General Manager (Industrial)
  • Sanjeev Kumar Bedi, Assistant General Manager (Residential Plots)

Sanitation Supervisor Also Penalized

In a related action highlighting the authority's broader crackdown on inefficiency, the salary of a sanitation supervisor was also withheld. Vivek, the supervisor responsible for the MP-1 road near Sector 4, faced the penalty due to unsatisfactory sanitation work in his area. This shows the administration's intent to maintain discipline and performance standards across all levels and departments.

A Message of Accountability and Public Service

This series of disciplinary actions sends a clear and strong message about the Noida Authority's renewed focus on efficient governance and public service delivery. By linking administrative accountability directly to the timely resolution of citizen complaints, the CEO aims to instill a greater sense of urgency and responsibility among officials. The move is expected to expedite the processing of pending IGRS cases and improve the overall grievance redressal mechanism for Noida's residents.
