Dakshina Kannada district has introduced a new online tracking system to ensure the time-bound renewal of gun licenses within 60 days. The system aims to streamline the process and reduce delays in license renewals.
System Overview
Under the new system, the Deputy Commissioner, District Forest Officer (DCF), Superintendent of Police (SP), and Tahsildars will receive real-time updates on applications pending for more than 30 days and 60 days. This will enable them to monitor progress and take necessary action to expedite approvals.
