Panchkula Deputy Commissioner Takes Swift Action on Village Complaint
Deputy Commissioner Satpal Sharma issued immediate orders on Friday. He demanded the drainage of wastewater in Khadkua village, Pinjore. This directive came during a public grievance hearing at the Samadhan Shivir held in the mini secretariat.
Officials Directed for Prompt Inspection and Report
Sharma took serious note of the complaint from villagers. He instructed the block development and panchayats officer for Pinjore to act quickly. Officials from the electricity department also received orders to join a site inspection.
The DC told them to submit a detailed report at the earliest. He emphasized the need for prompt removal of stagnant wastewater. Sharma also asked the team to examine demands for installing electricity poles in the area. Necessary action must follow the inspection.
Multiple Grievances Addressed During Camp
During the shivir, Sharma listened to fifteen grievances from residents across the district. Several issues found resolution on the spot. For remaining matters, clear instructions went to concerned departments. They must address these problems on priority.
Sharma reviewed the status of reopened and pending grievances. He directed all departments to expedite their disposal. The DC examined complaints received through various platforms. These include Samadhan Shivir, CPGRAMS, Jan Samvad, CM Window, and SMGT.
Accountability and Timelines Stressed
Sharma stressed accountability for every complaint. He said grievances received during the redressal camp must resolve within a stipulated timeframe. The DC warned that unnecessary delays would not receive tolerance. He reiterated that issues raised during Samadhan Shivirs deserve top priority.
The Deputy Commissioner further informed about regular shivir schedules. As per Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini's directions, Samadhan Shivirs now occur every Monday and Thursday. They run from 10 am to 12 noon on all working days.
CM's Personal Monitoring and Public Appeal
Sharma added that the Chief Minister personally monitors the grievance redressal mechanism. Saini regularly reviews action-taken reports to ensure effectiveness.
The Deputy Commissioner appealed to residents for active participation. He encouraged people to bring forward their grievances during these camps. Sharma promised resolution in a transparent, timely, and effective manner.
