In response, the defective coach was promptly detached and sent to the railway yard for repairs, ensuring safety standards were upheld.
A Central Railway spokesperson confirmed the incident, stating, "One coach of Panchvati Express was marked sick due to a wheel defect at CSMT this evening. The coach was detached and the remaining rake was dispatched on its onward journey. Passengers were adjusted in other coaches as there was no heavy rush because of Saturday." This swift action allowed the train to proceed with its route to Nashik and Manmad without further complications.
