Residents have been urged to dispose of construction and demolition waste responsibly through the PMC helpline. For those unable to transport waste, PMC offers a collection service at Rs 600 per tractor per trip. Recent inspections have resulted in:

  • 49 violators penalized
  • Rs 1.54 lakh collected in fines

Illegal dumping now carries a penalty of Rs 1,500, reinforcing the city's commitment to cleanliness.

Mandiri Nala Project Nears Completion with Modern Infrastructure Upgrades

Municipal Commissioner Yashpal Meena inspected the Mandiri Nala project on Friday, which is in its final phase of construction. This project includes a 1,289-metre two-lane road connecting Nehru Path to Bans Ghat, alongside a state-of-the-art drainage system designed to mitigate flooding.

Key infrastructure features incorporated into the project are:

  1. Box drains for efficient water management
  2. Utility ducts for streamlined services
  3. Sluice gates to control water flow
