Rampur District Achieves Perfect Score in Uttar Pradesh's Grievance Redressal System
Rampur has secured the top position in the February report of the Integrated Grievance Redressal System (IGRS), a key mechanism through which the Uttar Pradesh government monitors public hearings and welfare schemes. The district achieved a perfect score of 140 marks, leading the state in administrative efficiency and public service delivery.
District Magistrate Credits Timely Development Works
District Magistrate Ajay Kumar Dwivedi attributed this achievement to the consistent and high-quality completion of development projects in Rampur. He emphasized that the district's focus on timely execution and maintaining standards has directly contributed to its top ranking in both the IGRS and the Chief Minister's dashboard reports.
Shahjahanpur and Barabanki Secure Joint Second Position
Shahjahanpur and Barabanki districts each scored 137 marks, placing them jointly in second position. Shahjahanpur DM Dharmendra Pratap Singh highlighted the importance of weekly review meetings with officials to ensure projects are completed within stipulated timeframes, a practice that has bolstered the district's performance.
Other Districts in the Rankings
Jalaun district secured third place with 136 marks, demonstrating strong governance outcomes. Meanwhile, Bareilly, Shravasti, and Hathras each scored 135 marks, earning them a joint fourth position. Ballia, Azamgarh, and Bhadohi followed closely, each achieving 134 marks to secure fifth place in the rankings.
