The Ranchi Municipal Corporation (RMC) has significantly bolstered road safety protocols within the city, announcing on Monday the completion of fresh, highly visible markings at 19 critical locations. This proactive initiative is designed to enhance pedestrian security and streamline vehicular movement across several of Ranchi's busiest corridors.

Officials detailed that the civic body has executed a comprehensive painting project, which includes the application of clear zebra crossings, definitive stop lines, and directional arrows. Furthermore, the corporation has marked designated pick-up and drop zones at numerous high-traffic stretches. The work has been concentrated near vital public spaces, such as the areas around Morabadi, Kanke Road, and in proximity to educational institutions, public parks, and government offices.
