Among southern states, Andhra Pradesh received the highest allocation of Rs 2,545.5 crore. Tamil Nadu was provided with Rs 2,176.84 crore, Karnataka received Rs 1,750.88 crore, and Telangana was given Rs 1,263.41 crore. These funds are part of the broader MGNREGA framework, which focuses on providing wage employment and creating durable assets in rural areas.
