Sultanpur Lodhi Hospital Gets New Medical Equipment

Reiterating the Punjab Government’s commitment to strengthening healthcare services and ensuring quality medical facilities for people at their doorstep, Rajya Sabha Member Balbir Singh Seechewal on Wednesday dedicated an orthopaedic operation table and a urine analyser machine to the Sub-Divisional Hospital, Sultanpur Lodhi, from his MPLAD (Member of Parliament Local Area Development) Fund.

Enhanced Healthcare Infrastructure

Speaking on the occasion, Seechewal said the government was committed to providing advanced healthcare facilities to citizens and continuously upgrading medical infrastructure in government hospitals. He stated that the addition of modern equipment would significantly enhance the hospital’s capacity to deliver quality treatment to patients within the region.

Benefits for Orthopaedic Patients

The installation of the orthopaedic operation table is expected to prove particularly beneficial for patients requiring bone and knee surgeries, as they will no longer need to travel to distant medical centres for specialized procedures. The new facility will improve access to orthopaedic care and reduce both treatment costs and inconvenience for patients.
