Tiruchirappalli: The Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (Tangedco) has announced a scheduled power shutdown in several parts of Trichy on Saturday, citing maintenance work at various substations. The power supply will be interrupted between 9:45 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. in the following areas: Central Bus Stand, VOC Road, Collector Office Road, Raja Colony, Periya Milaguparai, Railway Junction, Williams Road, Royal Road, Convent Road, Birds Road, Melapudur, Good Shed Road, Bharathiyar Road, Pudukottai Road, Head Post Office, Pandamangalam, Vayalur Road, Mettu Theru, Walaja Bazaar, Bankers Colony, Srinivasa Nagar, Ramalinga Nagar, Geetha Nagar, Ammaiyappa Nagar, MM Nagar, Shanmuga Nagar, Kumaran Nagar, Renga Nagar, Uyyakondan Thirumalai, Vasan Nagar, Kodappu, Vekkali Ammankoil, Fathima Nagar, Kulumani Road, Nachiyarkoil, Ponnagar, Karumandapam, Selvanagar, RMS Colony, Dheeran Nagar, Pirattiyur, Ramji Nagar, Mannarpuram, TVS Tollgate, NMK Colony, Sethuramanpillai Colony, Kallukuzhi, Race Course Road, JK Nagar, RVS Nagar, Khaja Nagar, Highways Colony, Sundarraj Nagar, Central Jail, and Kottapattu.
