Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy will undertake a two-day tour of the combined Mahbubnagar district on June 4 and 5 to inspect major irrigation projects, review their progress, and address a public meeting on the second day of his tour.
Day One: Makthal and Aerial Inspections
On Thursday, June 4, the Chief Minister will first visit Makthal in Narayanpet district. He will hold a review meeting on the progress of the Makthal-Narayanpet-Kodangal Lift Irrigation Scheme (MNKLIS) and proposed barrages across the Krishna and Bhima rivers. Following the review, he will inspect the ongoing works of the irrigation scheme. He will also conduct aerial inspections of the Koilsagar Project, proposed barrages, and the Priyadarshini Jurala Project.
High-Level Review Meeting
A high-level review meeting on major irrigation projects in the Mahbubnagar district will be held at Somasila on Thursday evening. This meeting is expected to discuss the status and future plans for various irrigation initiatives in the region.
Day Two: Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Scheme and Public Meeting
On Friday, June 5, Revanth will inspect various components of the Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Scheme (PRLIS), including reservoirs, pump houses, and canal works, in Nagarkurnool and Mahbubnagar districts. He will specifically inspect the Uddandapur reservoir works in Jadcherla mandal. Later in the evening, he will participate in a public meeting at Uddandapur before returning to Hyderabad.
