UP Ministers Visit Disaster Victims, Distribute Aid

Lucknow: Acting on the directives of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, ministers-in-charge visited the homes of disaster victims in their assigned districts and handed over financial assistance to the affected families. In addition to Rs 4 lakh aid, the kin of each deceased person were also provided with benefits under various schemes.

Ministerial Visits Across Districts

Nitin Agarwal visited Lakhimpur Kheri and handed over financial assistance to the kin of a man killed in a house collapse. Social Welfare Minister Asim Arun visited the affected family in Hardoi, while Girish Chandra Yadav met the victim's kin in Ambedkar Nagar. Dharmveer Prajapati visited affected families in Sambhal, Minister Gulab Devi met affected families in Badaun, and JPS Rathore went to Bareilly to extend financial assistance.

Similarly, Minister Dharam Pal Singh distributed cheques of financial assistance to families affected in Unnao. Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi visited affected families in Bahraich, and Union Minister Anupriya Patel distributed financial assistance cheques to affected families in her constituency, Mirzapur. Minister AK Sharma distributed relief assistance in Bhadohi, Minister Ajit Singh Pal distributed aid in Fatehpur, and Ministers Dinesh Pratap Singh and Manoj Pandey distributed relief assistance in Rae Bareli.

Assessment in Prayagraj

Meanwhile, Minister Swatantra Dev Singh visited storm-affected areas in Prayagraj on Friday and assessed the damage. He stated that the Uttar Pradesh government stood with the affected families during this difficult time. The minister also reviewed whether compensation of Rs 4 lakh was transferred to the accounts of dependents of those who died and directed officials to ensure the payments were made the same day. He assured the affected families that all permissible government assistance would be provided.
