Elections will be conducted for the central executive committee, which includes 10 elected representatives. Key positions to be filled include the president, vice president, general secretary, and finance secretary, along with other posts. The association boasts a membership of approximately 14,000 to 15,000 individuals, comprising allopathic doctors and medical officers who serve as permanent employees in government-run hospitals and health centres across Uttar Pradesh.
Voting Process and Arrangements
Voting will take place from 9 am to 6 pm on June 22 at district headquarters. Polling arrangements will be made in advance at each location to facilitate participation by all eligible members. The association emphasizes the importance of a smooth and inclusive voting process to ensure that the new leadership effectively addresses the needs of its members.
