Uttar Pradesh Disaster Response Force Earns National Recognition
The Uttar Pradesh State Disaster Response Force (UP SDRF) has achieved a remarkable feat by securing the second position at the national level during the prestigious National Collapsed Structure Search and Rescue (CSSR) Competition. This significant event took place from March 8 to March 10 at the 8th Battalion of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) in Delhi, bringing together elite teams from across the country.
Competition Details and Participation
Teams from multiple states participated in this rigorous competition, which was specifically designed to evaluate the capabilities of disaster response units in rescuing victims trapped under debris during critical emergencies such as earthquakes, building collapses, and similar catastrophic events. The UP SDRF team, under the expert guidance of Director General of Police Rajeev Krishna and the direct supervision of Additional Director General (PAC) Ramakrishna Swarnkar, showcased exceptional skill and professionalism throughout the challenges.
