Expected Benefits of the New Traffic System

The new traffic signal system is projected to deliver multiple advantages for Vasco's transportation network:

  • Enhanced Safety: By regulating vehicle flow, the signals aim to prevent accidents and protect pedestrians, particularly students.
  • Traffic Violation Reduction: Automated monitoring will help curb violations, promoting disciplined driving behavior.
  • Efficient Traffic Management: Continuous monitoring of traffic movement will optimize congestion management in this vital area.

Salkar added that the installing signals will also help curb traffic violations, prevent accidents and monitor traffic movement in the area, underscoring a holistic approach to urban mobility.
