Yogi Adityanath Fills Digital Census Form in Gorakhpur

Gorakhpur: Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday completed the digital self-enumeration form under the first phase of the ongoing digital census campaign during his visit to Gorakhpur. He also urged citizens to actively take part in the self-enumeration process, which will continue until May 21.

The chief minister filled out the online form at his residence in the Gorakhnath Temple complex by logging into the self-enumeration portal and submitting all the required details.

Urging people across the state to join the exercise, Yogi said the initiative marks the country’s first fully digital census and is aimed at collecting accurate data to help shape development policies and welfare schemes under the vision of “Our Census, Our Development”.

He said Census 2027 is not merely about population counting, but also a strong foundation for inclusive, comprehensive and well-planned development. “It is a means to ensure that the last person in society becomes an equal stakeholder in the stream of development,” he said.

Highlighting the use of technology, the CM said digital tools and real-time data collection would make the census process more transparent, effective and faster.
