"In the first phase of this initiative, an amount of Rs 10,000 has been provided to one woman from each eligible family," he stated. The government has successfully transferred these funds to the bank accounts of an impressive 1.56 crore beneficiaries through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
Furthermore, the remaining applicants in both rural and urban areas will soon receive their allocated amounts through DBT as per established regulations. This systematic rollout demonstrates the administration's commitment to inclusive economic development.

The chief minister explained the mechanism for obtaining the enhanced financial assistance. "Under this scheme, there is a provision to provide additional financial assistance of up to Rs 2 lakh as per requirement, upon assessment six months after the women start their employment," Nitish Kumar revealed.
He expressed satisfaction that action has already been initiated to provide this supplementary support to selected beneficiaries. The additional amount will be disbursed in phases, contingent upon verification that previously allocated funds have been appropriately utilized for employment generation. For enterprises demonstrating strong performance, the government may provide a lump sum amount as needed.

Beyond financial assistance, the Bihar government plans to integrate scheme beneficiaries with various departmental initiatives. "The department has been directed to ensure proper arrangements for the marketing of goods produced by beneficiaries under the Mukhya Mantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana," the chief minister announced.
Additionally, these women entrepreneurs will be connected to government department projects including:
- Garment manufacturing units
- Sudha dairy sales centers
- Didi ki Rasoi community kitchen initiatives
