In a significant move to enhance governance outreach, the East Singhbhum district administration is gearing up for the ambitious rollout of the 'Aapki Yojana- Aapki Sarkar Aapke Dwar' program. Deputy Commissioner Karn Satyarthi personally reviewed the comprehensive preparations, setting the stage for the initiative's commencement in the district from November 21.
Directives for a Smooth Rollout
During a crucial district coordination meeting, DC Satyarthi issued clear instructions to the Block Development Officers (BDOs). He mandated that the program must be conducted strictly in line with the government's officially laid-out guidelines. A key directive focused on establishing robust coordination channels between the BDOs and all relevant government departments.
The primary objective of this inter-departmental collaboration is to ensure that various welfare and empowerment schemes successfully reach their intended, eligible beneficiaries directly at the camps. "At the panchayat level programme, ensure that people turnout in large number and take advantage of the camps," Satyarthi emphasized, highlighting the importance of mass participation.
Ensuring Transparency and Public Awareness
To guarantee maximum public engagement, the Deputy Commissioner instructed officials to proactively publicize the dates and venues of these camps well in advance. This measure is designed to give citizens ample time to prepare the necessary documents and plan their visit.
Furthermore, a major push for transparency was announced. "Forms received at the camp will have to be uploaded on the dedicated portal and along with the status of action taken to ensure transparency," Satyarthi added. This digital tracking system is expected to provide applicants with clear visibility into the status of their requests and the actions taken by the administration, thereby building public trust in the process.
The 'Aapki Yojana- Aapki Sarkar Aapke Dwar' camp is poised to bridge the gap between the government and the citizens of East Singhbhum, bringing essential services and scheme benefits right to their doorsteps.
