Mohan Yadav: PMGSY Model of Rural Transformation Through Strong Will

Bhopal: Chief Minister Mohan Yadav stated on Sunday that a single welfare scheme can alter the destiny of rural India if supported by strong political determination, citing the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) as an exemplary initiative that revolutionized connectivity and daily life in villages throughout the nation.

Launch of PMGSY Phase-IV and PM JANMAN

Addressing the launch program of PMGSY Phase-IV and works under the Pradhan Mantri Janjatiya Adivasi Nyaya Maha Abhiyan (PM JANMAN) at Bhairunda in Sehore district, Yadav emphasized that roads built under PMGSY have become the 'lifeline' of rural India by linking villages, hamlets, and remote habitations with permanent all-weather roads. Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan was also present at the event.

Role of PMGSY in Rural Development

Yadav highlighted that PMGSY has been instrumental in implementing rural development and welfare schemes effectively on the ground by enhancing accessibility in remote areas. He described the completion of 25 years of PMGSY as a 'historic milestone' and stated that the silver jubilee of the scheme marks the beginning of a new era of rural transformation.
