In a significant move, the Chief Minister transferred Rs 1,835 crore directly to the bank accounts of 1.25 crore Ladli Behnas, providing substantial economic support to women across Madhya Pradesh.

Empowering Women Economically

The Ladli Behna Yojana, a flagship initiative of the state government, aims to enhance the financial independence of women by providing direct cash transfers. This latest disbursement of Rs 1,835 crore will benefit over 1.25 crore women, enabling them to meet their personal and family needs. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stated, "Respect for mothers and sisters is not just a value but a responsibility. This scheme is a step towards ensuring their economic security and dignity."

Heritage and Development in Narsinghpur

During his visit to Narsinghpur district, the Chief Minister unveiled a calendar showcasing the region's rich historical heritage, aiming to promote local culture and tourism. In a warm gesture, 51 Ladli Behnas welcomed him with a traditional Kalash Yatra, reflecting the community's appreciation for the government's efforts.

Furthermore, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation for 40 development projects worth Rs 296 crore in Narsinghpur district. These projects span various sectors including infrastructure, education, and healthcare, promising to boost regional growth and improve living standards.

The event was attended by local dignitaries, officials, and a large number of beneficiaries who expressed gratitude for the government's initiatives. The Chief Minister reiterated his administration's dedication to inclusive development and women's welfare.
