Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will felicitate 223 meritorious students on June 1 for securing top positions in Class 10 and 12 examinations in the 2025-26 academic session across the Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Board (UPSEB), Uttar Pradesh Secondary Sanskrit Education Board (UPSSEB), Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), and Council for the Indian School Examinations (CISCE).

State-Level Ceremony Details

According to directives issued by Secondary Education Director Mahendra Dev, the state-level function will honor the top 10 students each from Class 10 and Class 12. Each awardee will receive Rs 1 lakh in prize money, a tablet, a medal, and a certificate.

Breakdown of Awardees by Board

Among the 223 students, UPSEB accounts for 138 awardees, including 115 from Class 10 and 23 from Class 12. For UPSSEB, a total of 21 students — 11 in Class 10 and 10 in Class 12 — will be honored. From CISCE, 33 students — 22 in Class 10 and 11 in Class 12 — will be recognized, while 31 students from CBSE — 13 in Class 10 and 18 in Class 12 — will be felicitated.

District-Level Recognitions

Simultaneously, 1,459 students who secured top 10 ranks in each of the 75 districts in Class 10 and 12 from UPSEB will be felicitated at the district level. This ensures that academic excellence is celebrated across the state, motivating students at all levels.

The ceremony underscores the state government's commitment to promoting education and rewarding hard work among students.
