Incident Details

On Tuesday, a discussion between the families escalated into a physical assault. Police registered complaints from both sides and made the arrests later that night. Authorities stated that disputes began soon after the wedding, with several verbal altercations preceding this incident. Arjun allegedly clashed with Nandini, suspecting her of having an affair, police said.

The two families met outside the Kartik Kunj Society in Sector 44 on Tuesday, intending to resolve the issue through dialogue. However, the situation deteriorated rapidly. The verbal argument turned into a physical fight, with sticks and batons being used, and stone-pelting occurring at the scene.

Residents Alarmed

The commotion outside the society alarmed nearby residents, many of whom witnessed the events from their balconies and windows. Videos of the clash circulated on social media, showing a large crowd gathered on the roadside. Some men were seen holding long sticks and a cricket bat, staring down another party not visible in the frame. As commotion escalated, the men ran down the street toward the other party with raised sticks, leading to an altercation before returning up the street.

Police Action

The Sector 39 police station received information about the clash, and a police team arrived to pacify both parties. They recorded complaints from both sides, registered cases, and arrested a total of 11 people, including Arjun and Nandini. Police added that further investigation and necessary legal proceedings are underway.
