The incident occurred around 7:30 am when a Bolero camper, carrying passengers returning from a wedding ceremony, collided directly with a bus belonging to SM Public School. The thick fog blanket significantly reduced visibility, leading to the tragic crash on a Jaisalmer road.

Understanding the gravity of the situation, they used their private vehicles to rush all 12 injured individuals to the district hospital for urgent medical care.
