Jhunjhunu Murder Case: 13th Arrest Made, 2 Masterminds with Rs 50K Reward Still at Large
13th arrest in Jhunjhunu history-sheeter murder case

In a significant development in a high-profile criminal case, the Jhunjhunu district police have made their thirteenth arrest related to the abduction and murder of notorious history-sheeter Dennis Bawaria. The latest individual to be taken into custody is a wanted criminal carrying a substantial cash reward on his head.

Wanted Criminal Apprehended After Tip-Off

The police successfully arrested 25-year-old Dharmpal Meghwal on Monday. Meghwal, a resident of Daulatpura Katrathal in the Sikar district, was intercepted on the Katrathal-Dinarpur road. He was a wanted criminal with a reward of Rs 50,000 announced for information leading to his capture. According to Superintendent of Police Brijesh Jyoti Upadhyay, Meghwal's arrest was made possible after the police acted on a tip-off from an informer.

Investigations suggest that Meghwal played a crucial role in the events of October 20, which involved the abduction and subsequent murder of Dennis Bawaria on the Churu Bypass in Jhunjhunu city. Following the crime, Meghwal had been hiding in the hills of Raiwasa and Katrathal. Police officials stated that financial constraints eventually forced him to move, leading to his interception while he was heading towards Katrathal village.

Statewide Manhunt and Ongoing Investigation

The search for Dharmpal Meghwal was extensive and involved multiple police teams conducting raids across a wide geographical area. These raids covered locations including Raiwasa, Jeen Mata, Harsh, Sikar, Jaipur, Losal, Nagaur, Ringas, and Chomu. Despite this large-scale effort, Meghwal managed to evade capture until the recent breakthrough based on specific intelligence.

SP Upadhyay confirmed that with Meghwal's arrest, the total number of individuals held in connection with the Bawaria murder case has reached thirteen. However, the investigation is far from over, as the two alleged principal masterminds of the crime are still absconding.

Masterminds at Large with Bounties

The police have identified the fugitives as history-sheeter Mandeep alias Madiya from Bissau and notorious criminal Deepak Malsaria from the Jhunjhunu Sadar police station area. Both individuals are considered highly dangerous and are also carrying a reward of Rs 50,000 each for their capture.

The probe has uncovered that Mandeep and Malsaria had a direct enmity with Dennis Bawaria. Police believe they orchestrated his murder by recruiting and organizing a group of accomplices to execute their plan. The motive appears to be rooted in longstanding criminal rivalry.

The Jhunjhunu police have affirmed that they are actively pursuing all available leads to track down and arrest the remaining suspects involved in this case. The arrest of Dharmpal Meghwal is seen as a critical step, but the force remains focused on apprehending the two key accused to ensure complete justice is served.
