3 Arrested for Stabbing Youth to Death in Delhi Over Past Quarrel

Police in Delhi have arrested three men accused of stabbing a 20-year-old to death in a revenge attack following a previous altercation. The victim, Toheed, a resident of New Seelampur, was found injured near DDA Park close to JPC Hospital on Saturday morning. He was rushed to the hospital but was declared brought dead by doctors.

Incident Details

The incident occurred in northeast Delhi. Police registered a case and launched an investigation after Toheed was found with stab wounds. Through local intelligence and evidence, they identified three suspects: Shahnawaz (21), Noor Hasan (20), and Anas (21), all residents of Seelampur. They were arrested on Saturday night.

Motive and Confession

During interrogation, the accused confessed to the crime, stating they wanted to avenge an earlier altercation in which Toheed had allegedly slapped Noor Hasan and threatened Shahnawaz. Police recovered the knife used in the attack.

Background of Accused

Police verification revealed that Shahnawaz had a prior involvement in a robbery case, while the other two accused had no known criminal record so far.
