Khagaria Police Nab 3 Accused in Village Firing Case
3 Goons Arrested for Khagaria Village Shooting

In a swift action, the police in Bihar's Khagaria district have apprehended three individuals linked to a violent shooting incident that disrupted the peace of a local village. The arrests were made on Saturday, just a day after the crime took place.

Swift Police Action Leads to Arrests

The Bahadurpur police successfully captured the three accused, who were identified as Sunil Sahni, Sanjeev Yadav, and Navin Yadav. All are residents of Bahadurpur village itself. They were wanted in connection with a firing incident that occurred in the same village on Friday.

Details of the Violent Incident

According to Superintendent of Police Rakesh Kumar, the motive behind the attack was to establish dominance. The accused opened fire to show their supremacy over their rival, Vijai Singh, who lives in ward number 2 of Bahadurpur village.

The gunfire resulted in Vijai Singh sustaining bullet injuries. He was promptly admitted to the local primary health centre (PHC) for medical treatment. Following the incident, an FIR was registered based on the complaint filed by the injured Vijai Singh.

Legal Proceedings Initiated

The police have officially lodged FIR (case no. 01/26) against the three main accused. After their arrest, all three individuals were presented before the court and subsequently sent to judicial custody. The case highlights ongoing efforts by local authorities to curb gang violence and maintain law and order in the region.

The prompt filing of the FIR and the subsequent arrests demonstrate the police's response to the serious crime. The community now awaits further legal proceedings against the accused.
