Upon returning in the evening, she discovered the vehicle missing. Despite searching the vicinity, she was unable to locate it and, for reasons unknown, chose not to file a formal complaint at the time, leaving the matter unresolved for years.
Breakthrough in Another Case Leads to FIR
Inspector V J Chaudhary of the Satellite police station explained that the FIR was registered following a significant breakthrough in an unrelated investigation. "The accused was recently detained by the city crime branch in connection with other offences," Chaudhary stated. "During interrogation, he confessed to multiple thefts, including this particular incident from 2016. Based on his disclosure, we proceeded to register the complaint officially."
