Home Minister's Strong Warning to Terrorists
Union Home Minister Amit Shah has issued a stern warning to those responsible for the recent Delhi bomb blast, declaring that security forces will pursue the culprits even from the depths of the netherworld (patal) to ensure they face the strictest possible punishment. The strong statement came during the 32nd meeting of the Northern Zonal Council (NZC) held in Haryana.
Details of the Tragic Incident
The explosion that shook the capital occurred on November 10 near the Red Fort metro station, claiming the lives of 15 innocent people. Last week, the Union cabinet officially classified the incident as a heinous terror attack and assured the nation that everyone involved would be brought to justice with the most severe penalties under law.
Shah emphasized that the legal proceedings would be conducted with such rigor that it would send a clear global message. No one should ever dare to contemplate such attacks in India again, he asserted during the council meeting.
Breakthrough in Investigation
In a significant development in the case, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) made another crucial arrest on Monday. The agency apprehended Jasir Bilal Wani alias Danish, described as an active co-conspirator linked to the terrorist who was driving the vehicle that exploded.
The arrest took place in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, marking continued progress in dismantling the terror network behind the attack. According to official sources from the anti-terror agency, investigators have examined 73 witnesses so far, including survivors who were injured in the blast.
Coordination between multiple law enforcement agencies continues intensively, with Delhi Police, Jammu and Kashmir Police, Haryana Police, and Uttar Pradesh Police working together to map the broader conspiracy and completely dismantle the network responsible for this devastating attack.
