AP Police Honors Three Personnel with DGP Commendation Disc for Bravery in Vijayawada
The Andhra Pradesh Police Department has recognized three of its personnel with the prestigious DGP Commendation Disc–2026 in the Bronze Category for their exceptional bravery and exemplary performance in the line of duty. The awards were presented during a ceremony held at the DGP office in Vijayawada on Friday.
Recipients of the DGP Commendation Disc
The honored officers are:
- M Krishnakumar (PC-2223) from the Vijayawada City Task Force (CTF)
- MV Saradhi Naik (HC-2381) from the Krishnalanka Police Station
- P Manohar (HC-95) from the EAGLE wing
These personnel were specifically commended for their critical role in apprehending an armed suspect during a high-risk operation conducted earlier this month. Their actions demonstrated remarkable courage and quick thinking in a dangerous situation.
