Multi-City Terror Plot Uncovered After Delhi Bombing

Investigations into the November 10 bombing near Delhi's historic Red Fort have revealed a chilling, coordinated multi-city terror plot that was in advanced stages of planning. Security agencies have confirmed that the capital was not the terrorists' only intended target, with the holy city of Ayodhya also identified as a key objective in their plans.

All Three Suspect Vehicles Located in Massive Search

In a significant breakthrough for investigators, all three suspected cars connected to the terror module have now been successfully traced. The car used in the actual Red Fort attack was completely destroyed in the explosion. Police later located a second vehicle, identified as a Ford EcoSport, followed by the discovery of a third car—a Maruti Brezza.

The recovery of the Maruti Brezza came after security forces launched an extensive search operation spanning Delhi-NCR and multiple adjoining states. This massive manhunt involved multiple agencies working in coordination to track down the vehicles before they could be used in further attacks.

DNA Confirmation and Planned "Spectacular" Attack

Authorities have officially identified the bomber through DNA testing as Umar Un Nabi, who carried out the attack in Old Delhi. Investigation details indicate that Nabi and his module had planned to execute what security officials are describing as a "spectacular terror attack."

The elaborate plan involved using multiple vehicle-borne improvised explosive devices (IEDs), which were to be followed by coordinated firing attacks using assault rifles. This sophisticated approach suggests the terrorists aimed to create maximum casualties and psychological impact across multiple locations.

The revelation that Ayodhya was among the planned targets has raised serious security concerns, prompting heightened alert levels and increased security measures at sensitive locations across the country.
