Bareilly Police Arrest Three in Job Scam Posing as IAS Officers

Meerut: Bareilly police on Tuesday arrested two sisters and a male accomplice for running a job scam that duped unemployed youths of lakhs of rupees.

Modus Operandi of the Scam

Operating in the Baradari police station area, Vipra Singh (29) and Shikha (30) posed as trainee IAS officers, ADMs, or SDMs. They convinced victims that they could secure government jobs. Their confident manner helped them swindle several individuals.

Victims Come Forward

The racket surfaced after four victims, including Preeti Loyal of Phaik Enclave, complained that they had been cheated of ₹11.5 lakh. When the promised jobs failed to materialise, the accused gave evasive replies.
