A tragic incident occurred in Bengaluru on Sunday when a 24-year-old bike rider lost his life after a manja string slit his throat. The victim was identified as Praveen Kumar, a resident of Kengeri Satellite Town. He was riding his motorcycle near the Kengeri police station area around 5 PM when the sharp string, used in kite flying, cut across his neck.

According to police, Praveen was returning home from work when the manja string, which was stretched across the road, caught his throat. He fell off the bike and sustained severe bleeding. Bystanders rushed him to a nearby hospital, but he was declared dead on arrival. The string was later removed from the scene by authorities.

The Kengeri police have registered a case of unnatural death and are investigating the source of the string. They suspect that the string was left hanging after a kite flying session in the area. No arrests have been made so far. Police are also checking CCTV footage to identify those responsible.
