According to the woman's complaint, the sexual assault occurred on the evening of April 4 in a private office located in the Vijayanagar area of Bengaluru. The accused has been identified as Shantakumar, a local vaastu practitioner. The woman stated that she approached him for professional guidance, but the consultation turned traumatic when he allegedly assaulted her.
Counter-Allegations of Blackmail
In a swift response, Shantakumar filed his own police complaint, naming the woman and her two associates—Jamal and Amrutalingam—as perpetrators in an alleged blackmail scheme.
