Woman Calmly Confesses to Stabbing Ex-Boyfriend in Bengaluru

Police officers at the Bidadi station in Bengaluru were left stunned on Thursday night when a 30-year-old woman walked in and calmly confessed to a violent crime. The woman, identified as Sudha, reportedly told police in a casual tone that she had stabbed her former boyfriend with a kitchen knife, adding chillingly: "He could be dead now; his intestines had come out during the attack."

Victim Found with Severe Stab Wounds

Sudha was immediately taken into custody, and a police team rushed to the victim's residence at Silk Farm in Bidadi. There, they found 26-year-old Venugopal, a gym trainer by profession, suffering from severe stab wounds to his abdomen and hands. He was quickly transported to a nearby hospital, where medical professionals confirmed he is in stable condition and responding positively to treatment.

Arrest and Investigation Details

Sudha, who works for a private firm, has been arrested on charges of attempted murder and remanded to judicial custody at the Ramanagara district prison. During interrogation, she revealed that she and Venugopal had been in a relationship for two years. "But Venugopal started ignoring me, which made me insecure," Sudha told investigators. She elaborated that for the last ten days, he had stopped taking her calls or replying on WhatsApp, leading her to suspect he was seeing someone else.

Motivation Behind the Attack

Driven by feelings of insecurity and suspicion, Sudha went to Venugopal's house on Thursday night. When he attempted to walk away from her, she attacked him with a kitchen knife she had brought from her own home. This premeditated act highlights the escalating tensions in their relationship, culminating in a violent outburst that has left both individuals facing severe consequences.

The case underscores issues of relationship violence and emotional distress, with police continuing their investigation into the incident. Authorities are examining all aspects of the relationship and the events leading up to the attack to ensure a thorough legal process.
