Bijnor Horror: Three Men Arrested for Heinous Crimes Against Minor
In a shocking and deeply disturbing incident from Bijnor, three men have been apprehended by police for allegedly orchestrating a horrific sequence of crimes against a 15-year-old girl. The accused are charged with manipulating the minor into drugging her own family, subsequently gang-raping her, and executing a calculated robbery at her residence.
The Chilling Sequence of Events
The teenager's harrowing ordeal commenced last Wednesday night. According to police reports, the primary accused, a 22-year-old man who had allegedly befriended the minor approximately six months ago and was in a relationship with her, convinced her to lace her family's tea with sedative tablets. Once her family members lost consciousness, the man, along with three other accomplices including a juvenile, carried out a premeditated robbery at the girl's home.
The robbers made off with gold and silver jewellery, along with Rs 10,000 in cash. Following the theft, the perpetrators took the traumatized girl to a banquet hall where they subjected her to gang rape.
Police Action and Legal Proceedings
The survivor's mother lodged a formal police complaint on Thursday, prompting immediate action. A comprehensive case was registered against the accused under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. The charges include kidnapping, procuration of a child, gang rape, causing hurt by means of poison with intent to commit another offense, and theft committed in a dwelling house.
Law enforcement moved swiftly, arresting the main accused and one accomplice on Saturday. The third accused was apprehended on Sunday, along with the recovery of the stolen jewellery and Rs 1,500 in cash. During interrogation, this accused confessed to the robbery, revealing that the stolen cash had already been spent on a trip to Haridwar.
Ongoing Investigation and Judicial Custody
Bijnor SP (City) Krishna Gopal Singh confirmed that a thorough investigation is currently underway as authorities finalize legal proceedings. All arrested accused have been remanded to judicial custody and sent to jail. The police are continuing their probe to ensure all aspects of this brutal case are thoroughly examined.
In accordance with Supreme Court directives on cases related to sexual assault, the identity of the victim has not been revealed to protect her privacy. This case has sent shockwaves through the community, highlighting grave concerns about child safety and predatory criminal behavior.
