Body found in Alwar tank at Tirumala, suicide suspected

Police recovered the body of a middle-aged man from the Alwar tank waterbody in Tirumala on Sunday. The Tirumala II town police suspect this to be a case of suicide after the body was found floating at the western part of the Alwar tank earlier in the day.

Preliminary Investigation

Preliminary examination indicates that the deceased male may be around 35 years old. Police suspect that the death might have occurred around 4-5 days ago due to drowning. The deceased was wearing a light blue full-sleeve shirt and dark blue denim jeans.

Restricted Area Access

Since the Alwar Tank is a restricted area with no direct public pathways, authorities believe the man intentionally scaled the perimeter gates to access the water body in an apparent suicide attempt.
