A tragic fire broke out at a religious seminary in Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag district on Tuesday, resulting in the death of a 12-year-old boy and injuries to three others, officials confirmed.

Incident Details

The fire erupted at Faizan Baba Hyder Rishi Darul Aloom, located on Court Road in Anantnag. According to officials, the flames engulfed a section of the building where young students were present. Four boys sustained burn injuries in the incident and were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

One of the injured, identified as Bilal Ahmad, succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. The condition of the other three boys is reported to be stable, and they are receiving medical care.
