A tragic incident occurred in Mumbai's Powai area on Friday morning, where a four-year-old boy was allegedly killed by his father. The Powai Police have arrested the accused, identified as Rajesh Prakash Singh (27), on charges of murder.

According to police officials, Rajesh was residing with his elderly mother and two children. His wife had reportedly left the household approximately 15 days prior to the incident, citing his alcohol addiction and unemployment as the reasons. The deceased child, Yash, was a special needs child who relied primarily on milk for sustenance.
On Friday morning, Yash began crying for milk, which allegedly enraged his father. In a fit of anger, Rajesh allegedly slammed the child against a door and then smashed his head on the floor, resulting in fatal injuries. The child died on the spot.

The Powai Police swiftly responded to the incident and apprehended the accused. He has been booked under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code for murder.
