12-Year-Old Boy Brutally Murdered by Father in Firozabad, Body Hidden in Locked Trunk
In a shocking and gruesome incident that has sent shockwaves through the community, a 12-year-old boy was allegedly hacked to death by his own father with a sickle in the Makhanpur police station area of Firozabad, near Agra. The horrific crime unfolded on Monday, with the accused father, identified as Rajesh Kumar Rajput, currently on the run as multiple police teams intensify efforts to apprehend him.
Discovery of the Crime Scene
The tragic discovery was made by the child's mother, Urmila Devi, who works as a teacher. Upon returning home from school around 3 PM, she was confronted with a horrifying sight: blood splattered extensively from the staircase to various rooms and the kitchen. Her son, a Class 5 student, was nowhere to be found, prompting her to immediately raise an alarm and alert the authorities.
Police swiftly arrived at the scene and initiated a thorough search of the premises. After nearly two hours of meticulous investigation, they made a grim discovery: the boy's blood-soaked body was found concealed inside a locked trunk within a storeroom of the house. The presence of blood stains across multiple areas of the home indicated a violent and intense struggle had taken place prior to the murder.
Police Investigation and Evidence Tampering
Investigators revealed that the accused attempted to cover up the crime by wiping the floor and washing the trunk with water in a desperate bid to erase crucial evidence. Despite these efforts, forensic clues and the extensive blood spatter provided clear indicators of the violent nature of the incident.
ASP Firozabad (Rural) Anuj Chaudhary provided details about the ongoing investigation, stating, "An FIR is being registered based on the complaint filed by the child's mother. The body has been sent for postmortem examination to determine the exact cause and circumstances of death. We are investigating this case from all possible angles to uncover the truth behind this tragic event."
