The deceased was identified as Amit Kumar (40). The suspects are Gopal (32) and his wife Soma (35). Police said the couple allegedly murdered Amit because he misbehaved with Soma.

Police received a PCR call about a suspicious sack at Moti Nagar police station on April 4. The sack contained two mattresses and two multicolored blankets wrapped around a decomposed male body with both legs tied with a mobile charger cable.

Post-Mortem Findings

A post-mortem examination revealed multiple bruises on the neck from strangulation and an injury to the head with a blunt object. The investigation led police to an e-cart driver from Loni in Ghaziabad, which eventually led to Gopal and Soma.
