One assailant grabbed Revani by the collar and punched him hard in the chest. Another attacker threw chilli powder directly into his eyes. This act left the elderly businessman temporarily blinded and in severe pain.
While Revani struggled, a third youth snatched a bag from the car seat. The bag contained a large amount of cash – Rs 10 lakh. It also held some packets of snacks. The robbers then fled the scene quickly.

Local residents rushed to help Revani. They took him to a hospital for urgent treatment to his eyes. Later, he filed a formal complaint at the Warasiya police station.
In his statement, Revani mentioned his daily routine. He leaves home for work at 10:30 AM and returns by 8:30 PM. Police suspect the robbers knew this schedule well. They likely planned the attack based on his predictable movements.
Community Response and Police Investigation
People living in the area reported an interesting detail. They said three attackers escaped, but one could not get away. His scooter failed to start, and neighbours caught him.
However, the official police complaint does not mention this detained suspect. Authorities have not confirmed any arrests yet. Repeated attempts to contact Warasiya police inspector S M Vasava for clarification proved unsuccessful.
