Buxar: FIR Filed Against Four Villagers After 11-Year-Old Boy Found Dead in Grain Godown

An FIR was registered on Tuesday against four villagers in connection with the suspicious death of an 11-year-old boy in Sarenja village under Rajpur police station area in Buxar district. The deceased has been identified as Bhagelu Chauhan.

According to family members, the boy went out to play on Sunday evening but did not return home at night. Despite an extensive search by relatives and villagers, he could not be found. On Monday morning, his body was discovered beneath sacks of wheat inside a local grain godown, sparking outrage among villagers and family members.

To protest the death, angry villagers blocked the Chausa-Kochas main road and raised slogans against the police administration. They alleged that the child was murdered. Following the protest, police rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control.

Based on a written complaint filed by the deceased's mother, Vimala Devi, Rajpur police registered a murder case against four named accused—Sheru Rai, Sandeep Rai, Appu Rai, and Brijmohan Rai—along with several unidentified persons. In her complaint, Vimala alleged that her son was killed as part of a pre-planned conspiracy and that the body was concealed to destroy evidence.

Rajpur SHO Srinivas confirmed that an FIR has been registered and police are investigating the case. Buxar SDPO Gaurav Pandey said strict action would be taken against those found guilty.
