CBI Frees UP Man in Suvendu Adhikari PA Murder Case

A dramatic twist has emerged in the murder case linked to the personal assistant of West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari. Raj Singh, a resident of Ballia in Uttar Pradesh who was arrested in connection with the case, has now been released after a CBI probe reportedly found him innocent.

Raj Singh's Allegations

Speaking after his release, Raj Singh alleged that he was wrongly identified as another accused named Raj Kumar Singh. He claimed he was arrested while returning from Ayodhya with his mother and accused the police and Kolkata CID of torture, forced confession attempts, and even threatening him with an “encounter.”

Raj Singh thanked the CBI for what he called a fair investigation and appealed to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to take action against the police team involved in his arrest.
