The situation took a grim turn on Wednesday morning when the Otteri police received a tip-off about a man's body seen floating in the temple tank of the Gangai Amman temple in Vandalur. Authorities swiftly responded to the scene, recovering the body and transporting it to the Tambaram government hospital for a postmortem examination.
