DSP Ashok Joshi of Kapren provided chilling details about the incident based on the report filed by the victim's parents. According to the account, three youths who were familiar to the girl approached her while she was standing outside her school gate. One of them offered her water to drink, which she accepted.
After consuming the water, the girl allegedly fell semi-conscious, at which point the three youths took her some distance away from the school premises. It was at this isolated location that they allegedly raped her before fleeing from the scene of the crime.
Rescue and Medical Examination
A passerby who was acquainted with the victim reportedly found her in distress and assisted her, taking her to her maternal grandmother's house. It was there that the traumatized girl narrated her horrific ordeal to family members.
