Prayagraj: The bodies of a married couple were discovered under mysterious circumstances inside their home in Kharauna village, falling under the Paschim Sarira police station limits in Kaushambi district, on Monday. After receiving an alert, senior police officials, along with forensic experts, rushed to the scene and initiated investigations.
Police Investigation Underway
A senior police officer stated, "Initial police investigation revealed that the bodies of the couple, identified as Phul Chandra (55) and Puja (54), were at least 48 hours old. The autopsy report will clarify the exact cause of death." The officer further noted that both bodies exhibited blisters, and police will act based on the complaint filed by family members.
Forensic Examination Ordered
The authorities have ordered a thorough forensic examination to determine whether foul play was involved.
