New Delhi: A robbery incident in central Delhi's Karol Bagh left two cousins injured after they were allegedly threatened with a sack needle and assaulted by four men on scooters. The event occurred near Kalkadas Chowk around 11:30 pm on Monday.

Incident Details

According to police reports, the victims were returning to Siddhipura from Naiwala when they were intercepted by four individuals near Kalkadas Chowk. One of the scooter-borne assailants brandished a sack needle and threatened the duo, demanding their belongings. Another accused pushed one of the cousins to the ground, causing forehead injuries, while the other sustained injuries to the chest and arm during the altercation.

Robbery and Arrests

The accused allegedly robbed the victims of Rs 1,000 in cash, identity documents, and mobile phones. A patrolling team from the DBG road police station spotted the incident. The assailants attempted to flee but two of them were apprehended after a brief chase. The arrested suspects were identified as Dinesh (24) and Raj Kumar (29). Both have previous criminal records. The remaining two accused managed to escape.

Police are investigating the case and searching for the absconding suspects. The injured cousins were provided medical assistance.
