Constable and Police Mitra Injured in Jahangirpuri Accident
A Delhi Police constable and a police mitra were seriously injured after being run over by a Thar vehicle in the Jahangirpuri area of Delhi on Thursday. The incident took place when the duo was on routine patrol duty near the Jahangirpuri Metro station.

According to police officials, the constable, identified as Sunil Kumar, and the police mitra, Ravi, were checking vehicles when a speeding Thar hit them. The driver lost control, and the vehicle ran over both individuals before crashing into a nearby pole. The accused driver has been arrested, and a case under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code has been registered.
Injuries and Medical Response
Both victims were rushed to a nearby hospital, where they are reported to be in stable condition. Sunil Kumar sustained fractures in his leg, while Ravi suffered multiple bruises. Doctors are monitoring their health, and they are expected to recover soon.
