A 25-year-old man died after his motorcycle was allegedly struck by a car on the Dabri flyover in southwest Delhi on Thursday morning. The deceased has been identified as Rajkumar, a resident of Jharkhand's Godda district, who worked as a delivery executive.
Incident Details
Police received a PCR call around 7:35 am reporting that a person had fallen from the Dabri flyover and required an ambulance. When a police team arrived, they found a scooty and a car in an accidental condition on the flyover. Rajkumar had sustained critical injuries and was taken to a hospital by ambulance, where he was declared brought dead. His body has been preserved at the mortuary.
Investigation Underway
Police said the car involved in the accident is registered in the name of a Dabri resident, while the driver is currently absconding. Efforts are underway to apprehend the accused. An FIR has been registered under sections 125A and 106 of the BNS at Janakpuri police station.
The incident highlights the risks faced by delivery executives on Delhi's roads. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward as the investigation continues.
