The accused, identified as Puneet Sharma, reportedly struck 60-year-old Kanta Sharma with his Hyundai Creta in the Aman Vihar area on Tuesday evening. According to police reports, instead of stopping to help the victim, Sharma fled the scene, leaving the elderly woman critically injured on the road.
